Love your neighbor as yourself.
Rhythms of hospitality and friendship that help you love your neighbor as yourself.
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful
stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.1 Peter 4:10
Get to know your neighbors
Make a point of finding out these three things from anyone that lives near you: (1)Their full name (2) A relevant or interesting fact about their life (3) What are their hopes and aspirations.
Turn promptings into action
If God places something on your heart, go ahead and pray for someone on the spot. Don’t say, “I’ll be praying for you,” and save for later what could be done now in person. Or, when someone comes to mind, take the time to pause and text them, give them a call, or write them an encouraging note.
Generosity and Kindness
Seek to resource the needs inside and outside of the church as we purpose to give away what God first gave us. Go out of your way to bless and honor others by giving to someone in need of benevolence, or by supporting an entity God has placed on your heart.
Invitation
Commit to inviting someone to church. Or invite a friend to the next Alpha course and go along with them.
Reach Rhythm:
Want to go deeper? Consider adding a Reach Rhythm to your rhythm of life for a season. Reach Rhythms go beyond your routine to grow your walk with Jesus even more.
Create my rhythm of life
Once you have explored all the categories - heart, soul, mind, strength, neighbor - get started by creating your own rhythm of life.
Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.
